British Moths Database Update (12)

The taxonomy “2013 Checklist” has the option to show vernacular names for most micro moths. To show micro moths with vernacular names select taxonomy “2013 Checklist” and language “English”. If you prefer to continue using scientific names only for micro moths select taxonomy “2013 Checklist” and language “Micros without vernacular names”.

The species distribution data has been improved and now has separate distribution lists for England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the Republic of Ireland.

The database contains the Bradley and Fletcher number in Quick Code 1 and the ABH number in Quick Code 2.

New Features
- New columns "First date only", "First time", "Last date only" and "Last time" have been added to the sightings query field. Previously First date & time and Last Date & time could only be displayed combined in a single colimn. They can still be displayed combined or if preferred the dates and times can be displayed in separate columns.
Fixes
- Corrects error in data uploaded to WR4M which caused WR4M to calculate list counts incorrectly
- Database synchronisation now automatically removes any unused duplicates locations and habitats from the child databases .
- Various other fixes.
Wildlife Recorder Import Converter - 1.0.10

New feature
- It is now possible to specify the format of the date in the data to be imported if this differs from the date settings on your own machine.
To select the import date format for the First Date and Last Date fields click in the formatting column and select the required date format. N.B if the import data dates contain the month as a text string e.g. 15 Sep 2019, do not select the import date format as the date conversion to the correct format for your machine will be handled automatically.
