Polygon Creation

This screen allows the creation of a multi-point polygon.  If a polygon already exists it the existing points can be moved or deleted and new points can be added. 

To create or edit a polygon for a Site click the Draw Polygon Button on the site form.



The map will be shown, centred at the NW point for the site.  If a polygon for the site already exists then it will be shown.  If there is no existing polygon the the single NW point for the site will be shown.

To add a point to the point click on the map with the left mouse button at the desired position. The polygon shape will start to appear.

To move a point click on the point, and while still pressing the left mouse button, move the point to the new position. The polygon shape will be changed.

To delete a point click on the desired point with the right mouse burtton.  A confirmation message will be displayed.  Click Yes to complete the deletion. The polygon shape will be changed.

Removing a Polygon

To remove the existing polygon first click on the Erase Polygon Button in the map toolbar.  The polygon will be erased.

Restore the original Polygon

To remove all changes and redisplay the original polygon, click on the Restore Polygon Button in the map toolbar.  The original polygon will be reshown.

Saving the Polygon

To save the polygon click the Save button at the top left.
