Selecting Observers

When an observer is required, for example when creating a new trip, an observer selection tool will be displayed.

You may either manually navigate the observer list or search for the observer you require.

Searching for a name

To search for an observer their name or the beginning of the first name or surname in the Observer Search field.  Any matches found for your search term will be highlighted.

Searching for initials

To search for a observer using their initials enter the initials preceded by a single quote in the Observer Search field.  Any matches found for your search term will be highlighted.

Selecting the required observer(s)

Select the required observer(s) from the results list by clicking in the checkbox or by pressing the space key.

You can use search again to find your next required or observer or manually scroll through the observers.
